James Edstrom, a former friend of Carol Baldwin who is also a volunteer for her Cancer Research Fund previously told Radar Online that she pocketed a salary of $243,473 from the foundation in the years 2009, 2010, and 2011. The amount represents more than half of the revenue of the charity, even after cutting out the salaries, expenses and donations. According to tax documents obtained, the fund raked in $416,916 in revenue after expenses between 2009 and 2011 and shelled out around 58% of that.
Alec later spoke on this matter and said that Edstrom has long been on a mission to destroy his mother and siblings, adding that he will not succeed. He said,
Edstrom is a very strange guy. He has some persistent need to take down my family.
